Ordering

You can order a free size band to help you find the right size. If you already have a ring, you can also use our size guide here.

Ring size is measured in inner diameter or circumference. Schalins is sold at our authorized dealers which you can find here (link). You can also visit one of our authorized dealers and order a ring through them.

Yes, many of our rings are designed to be combined. With information about the model, width and material, we can help you find a suitable ring. This information is available for each model. In order for the rings to fit together beautifully, it is an advantage if the height of your rings matches, while the width and shape of the bar are more of a matter of taste. A classic choice and example of ring combinations is where the height of the rings is the same but the width is different.

If you don't want it perfect, edge to edge, but think that the asymmetrical design gives an inspiring expression, then choose something where the height and ring rail differ.

You can call, chat or email us and we will help you find a ring that suits you in the best way. Contact our customer service .

You can also read more about combination rings here .

It depends on the ring model, width and size. Some rings have limited space for engraving, such as an alliance ring where the diamond setting creates a hole on the inside, which reduces the space for engraving.

About our products

The best environmentally friendly gold is recycled gold, and therefore we have a close collaboration with Europe's largest supplier of precious metals, which also has Europe's largest and most modern facility specifically for the recycling of precious metals. Our supplier thinks long-term in terms of quality, environment and sustainability, and its entire production is therefore also certified according to both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

All fine gold in our rings is recycled and climate-compensated gold. We procure our precious metals from the Swedish company NSG Sweden AB, which works for a sustainable and responsible precious metals industry. Other gold used in the production process comes from so-called chest of drawers gold that is purified by the same company.

White gold is an alloy (mixture) of gold and other metals that makes the gold white. It is common to add palladium to gold to achieve the white effect, 18K white gold consists of 75% fine gold, 16% palladium and the rest is copper and zinc.

White gold jewelry is dipped in rhodium, which gives it a brilliant, chrome-like color while protecting it from scratches. To maintain this brilliant whiteness, periodic "re-dipping" once a year is recommended - a simple maintenance measure.

Yes, that's right, our diamonds are conflict-free and follow the Kimberley Process.

Our standard quality is WSI from 0.005 ct up to 0.035 ct and WVS from 0.04 ct for all brilliant cut (round) diamonds. However, a princess cut (square) diamond is always TWVS from us. Do you want a higher diamond quality?

Exact quality may vary between different collections and models and is specified at the time of purchase.

Do you have Lab Grown or what others call lab-grown diamonds?

We offer Lab Grown in the North collection. You can find the collection here.

A lab-grown diamond is another term for a synthetic diamond, meaning a diamond that has been produced by humans instead of being formed naturally beneath the Earth's surface.

Lab-grown diamonds are produced by using various techniques to create the high pressures and temperatures required for the diamond to form. A common method is chemical vapor deposition (CVD), where a gas mixture is introduced into a vacuum chamber and exposed to high heat, leading to the formation of a diamond.

Another method is the high-pressure-high-temperature (HPHT) process, where a small piece of carbon is placed in a high-pressure chamber and subjected to high pressures and temperatures, causing it to melt and then form a synthetic diamond.

A lab-grown diamond should not be confused with cubic zirconia or synthetic moissanite. Both of these are synthetic stones that look like diamonds to the naked eye, but are not diamonds and lack many of the unique properties of diamonds.

If you want a larger diamond than your wallet allows, then Lab Grown is a good option.

In the North collection we challenge ourselves in terms of design with larger stones and exciting designs. You can of course get North models with natural diamonds, but we do not do the opposite.

Yes — all of our diamond rings come with a certificate that attests to the authenticity and quality of the ring.

The certificate serves as your guarantee that both the gold and the diamond in the ring are precisely specified and of high quality. It certifies, among other things: the alloy/carat content of the ring, the quality and weight of the diamond, and the delivery date.

For diamonds that are 0.50 ct or larger (both natural and lab grown), an international certificate from a recognized, independent institute such as GIA, IGI or HRD is also included.

We recommend that you save the certificate carefully as it can be important for security, future valuation and insurance purposes.

If you are sensitive to certain metals, titanium or platinum, for example, may be a good alternative and are usually tolerated by most people.

The difference is in the gold content. 18K contains 75% gold, 14K 58.5% and 9K 37.5%. Higher karat content means higher gold content. Schalins are available in 18K and 14K.

The color has to do with the amount of copper or silver it contains, 18K yellow is brighter than 9K red for example.
