When you buy a ring from Schalins, you can be sure that it is authentic and of the highest quality. Here are the important markings and certificates that confirm this:

Certificate – Your guarantee of authenticity

All diamond rings from Schalins come with a certificate that certifies:

• The karat content of the gold
• The quality and weight of the diamonds
• Delivery date

For diamonds from 0.50 ct and up, an international certificate from recognized organizations such as GIA, IGI or HRD is also included.

Stamps and engravings – Proof of authenticity on your ring

• Name stamp: SCH (or older stamps such as SCHALIN, BÖS or BES) shows that the ring is made by Schalins.
• Kattfoten: A Swedish hallmark that guarantees that the gold has been tested and approved by RISE – Research Institutes of Sweden.
• 18K stamp: Indicates that the ring is made of 18 karat gold (other karat grades may have different markings).
• Carat engraving: All diamond rings have an engraving on the inside that indicates the total carat weight, e.g. 0.24 for a ring with diamonds totaling 0.24 ct.
  
  Save your certificate Your Schalins certificate is a document of value and, together with the carat engraving, it confirms that the ring is genuine and not a plagiarism.
